When did you mama's try and put your babies into a toddler bed? My son just turn 1 and 6 months old. Would now be a good time to try or should I wait until he's older? Like 2 maybe?

I did it around 18 months. At first he thought it was a game getting out running around but now he loves it! He's 2.

My daughter will be 2 next month and still is in her crib. She definitely would go crazy all over her room if I switched and it's nice to keep her contained lol

I waiting until my son started to climb out of the crib. I figured if he could get out of it anyway I might as well switch to a toddler bed. I think he was between 1 and a half and 2.

I have a 4 year old and a 21 month old. I gotta tell Ya, keep them in the crib as long as possible!! Haha. As long as they aren't climbing/falling out, it is so much less stress on you to keep them in the crib. Once you transition to a toddler bed they are all over their room, banging on the door, taking forever to fall asleep, finally falling asleep on the floor, etc. And you are in and out, in and out putting them back to bed. It's So much better when they are older and understand more...

We put our daughter in her toddler bed at 2. She was NOT ready and it was a nightmare for 6 months. She would Either sleep all or part of the night in out bed. Finally at 2.5 she's sleeping in her bed all night.

My 21 month old is still in her crib and I plan on keeping it that way as long as possible. My first was in her crib until she was 2 and a half and we only switched her because the new baby came

We made the switch at 11 months with my son - he was a climber so it was the safest option.

We put our little one in a toddler bed right before she turned 2. We thought she'd try to get up and run around, but she never tried. For the longest time she wouldn't even get out of her bed until someone came and got her. Lol. Then again, she never tried to escape her crib either. I think it really depends on the child. ☺️

Keep them in there as long as possible. Cause the. They know they can get up at night and sneak into your room.

My daughter is 22 months and still in her crib. I have no intentions are taking her out anytime soon. She is content and sleeps very well. And I know she will be a party animal if she had a regular bed.

My son is almost 2 and I'm going to keep him in the crib until he decides he's gonna try to climb out. So far he hasn't tried so we are lucky. Whenever you feel your baby is ready though, you can try it out. If it doesn't work you can always put the crib front back on
