What are some healthy and very easy meals I can cook while having a newborn? I don't have a crockpot Should I invest in one?

You can make some meals ahead of time and freeze them! Download Pinterest app if you don't have it and search for easy and healthy meals. You'll find a ton of good stuff!!! P.S. You will also find a bunch of helpful stuff about babies and pregnancy!

Definitely invest in a crock pot, you just throw whatever in there and it cooks it, so much easier, I don't even use recipes, I just throw in a few things that I think might go well together and I don't even have to think about how long to cook it, when I have to check on it etc

Yes oh yes! A crockpot is awesome and there are tons of recipes online. Tonight I chopped an onion, two peppers, and threw a beef roast in the crock pot with salt, pepper, rosemary & thyme. Soaked in chicken stock. Easy and there are always leftovers!

You can steam vegetables in a pot with a little water and olive oil and put a cap on it. Add pepper and butter for taste. Chicken breast as well. You can bake it in the oven. Garlic salt, Sazon, and adobo for taste. Corn on the cob- just boil in water with salt and pepper and olive oil. Homemade mash potatoes- I don't peel them because the skin is very nutritious. But wash them good, cut them up, boil them in water, and mash it up. Add milk& butter. Whole grain rice. The dishes are endless! 😃👍

Also, we make a lot of salads around here. My fave as of late: kale, romaine, avocado, cucumber, celery, sunflower seeds, olive oil and lemon juice! And if I have time, + chicken.

Yes!!! I make chili and then pack enough for 2 dinners and 2 lunches in a bowl to freeze, my crockpot will give me 4 of those bowls + dinner and lunches for that evening. Plus I get tired in the evening after taking care of a teething baby and cleaning and doing laundry. It's great on nights when you don't want to cook.

Picante chicken tacos- put chicken breast in a crock pot with a jar of picante sauce for about 6 hours on medium or 3-4 on high. Shred chicken and put on tacos with lettuce beans and cheese. Makes good quesadilla too

I make a batch of meatballs and freeze them in a few containers to make more then one meal, then make rice or pasta to go with them. Asides from that the swansons frozen pasta bags are good as fast, they have 2 servings of veggies, meat an pasta all in the bag, about $5-6 at walmart
