My friend is going to be about 10 weeks pregnant when they will do a cross-country road trip. It will be about 5-7 days that they will be traveling. What are the things that would make this trip a bit easier for her? I know this early in pregnancy there isn't much discomfort, but she does have pretty bad morning sickness. Any ideas are welcome ;)

Tell her to get sea bands, I had bad morning sickness and traveled a bit and those helped me!

Sea bands pressure point wrist bands and ginger gum. Make sure they stop regularly for her to walk around/bathroom breaks.

I couldn't imagine going on a road trip around that time in pregnancy!!! My morning sickness was awful and cars made it so much worse. Lol. But my first pregnancy was perfect. Barely any morning sickness. I suggest she bring lots of grocery bags and keep them in the front seat in case she gets the urge to puke. Grocery bags were my life savor. 😄

I think she should wait for at least 5 to 10 weeks more

Do ask her to carry saltines or any type of crackers. It helped me a lot during my pregnancy to cope with morning sickness.

Ask for a prescription from your doctor for nausa. I was sick day 1 to when I gave birth and the prescription is the only thing that saved me

Thank you ladies! All this is so helpful. They cannot postpone the trip since they are moving, and the move was planned before they found out about pregnancy. Thanks again! Now I can put together a little "care package" 😃
