My 3 year old has seborrheic dermatitis or cradle cap. Who knew we would deal with this at 3 years old πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Anyone else have little ones with this at this age? Any tips or advice? I washed his hair with selsom blue tonight and combed it.

Coconut oil.. saturate the scalp, use a toothbrush to gently exfoliate it and loosen the flakes, comb out. Apply shampoo before wetting hair with water to fully wash out the oil. After shampooing rinse with raw apple cider vinegar (the kind with the mother). Do it 3x a week until you see improvement then cut it down to 1x, then as needed :)

I was just looking at my 2 year olds head and wondering if that's what she had! I was also a bit worried about psoriasis because my husband has it but I really hope it’s not that. I know it can be uncomfortable and embarrassing for children if it goes beyond the head

My cousin got it when she was like 8 from not rinsing the soap out if her hair. I suppose it can happen at any time since it's a build up of oils.

Stephanie B asks I take a work-out class with my 2 yo. three times a week. He gets very antsy. I bring food, toys, crayons, stickers. Still wants to get out of the stroller and he throws everything on the floor. Unfort., kids have to remain in the stroller during the work-out. I am afraid he will throw his iPad on the floor if we bring it! Any ideas that will keep him occupied?
