Labor can get pretty crazy (or even just getting to the hospital in my case!) I'm sure some of you moms have one heck of a birth story to tell. Anyone want to/or are able to share their birth story in 500 characters or less? 😨πŸ₯πŸ‘ΌπŸΌπŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•

Pre-eclampsia at 38 weeks, unplanned c-section, post partum pre eclampsia with pulmonary edema and several days in ICU. Almost died on Christmas but lived and road to complete recovery has been a nightmare accompanied by severe post partum depression. Perfectly healthy baby boy.

Haha! Went in on a Friday night to get induced. Started the cervical medicine at midnight. No changes by 4 am so they applied some more medicine to help thin my cervix. By 6 am I was having serious pain and didn't realize I was in active labor (first pregnancy). The nurses wouldn't check me because they said my doctor would be in soon. 8 am and I told my husband I was going to poop in the bed! Haha! My doctor came in, I was at a 10, and I had LO at 9:30 am. All natural childbirth..never again!ha

Long story short I was in labor for 2 days, because I had prodromal labor. I did some crazy exercises to get my labor to progress. It worked, so I headed for the birth center. I labored in the bath tub for hours (it really hurt less). I decided to push around 3 am I had to keep switching birth positions b/c I couldn't get her head past my pelvis. Finally had my beautiful baby girl at 7:50am.

My nurse was awful !! After my water broke she didn't believe me when I said I was having bad contractions bc she said that the monitor isn't always right. When she finally checked to see if I was dilated I was @ 8.5cm & finalllly got my epidural then. Baby was here about an hour later. I'm pretty sure she was high, seriously. I was not happy πŸ˜’

Painful, back labour, not dialated very much at first, almost got sent home, thunder storm, power went out at hospital, had to wait FOREVER for epidural, morphine did nothing, Demerol made me groggy, laughing gas made me loopy, finally got epidural, my body was so relieved/exhausted that I fell asleep, woke up, started pushing... out came my baby girl and up onto my chest! Shortly after attempted to BF, she latched on and fed for 45min! πŸ’•πŸ‘ΆπŸ˜‚πŸ˜

I had a bunch of student nurses and drs in the room learning during my labor.. At one point the nurse was about to break my water and the male student nurse asked to watch, I said yes.. She starts sticking the thing in to pop it and he ran to the corner screaming "it's in too far!, it's in too far!" And freaking out, needless to say, he was kicked out and got in huge trouble

Water broke @10pm (38wk 2day) (was being monitored for preeclampsia 3x/wk and dr wouldn't induce me just 2 days before) wasn't sure till 1am went in and got started on pitocin went from 1-9 in about 10 hrs. Pushed for 2 hrs, born @315pm, son came out in shock due to being stuck for so long. Then we got released with mild jaundice that spiked extremely high at his first dr appointment so they made us take him back to the hospital for treatment. He's super healthy now though (:

Rushed to the er after my water broke a month 1/2 early.got there my bp was really high, my placamta was almost all the way detached from my uterus, we almost died, ended up getting cut open before it fully numbed me, lost a lot of blood. Baby was on oxygen and had an iv almost had to go to a different hospital. Couldn't hardly see her. They told me I was supposed to have twins but I lost one early on. And I ended up being really depressed where I cryer over every little thing

water broke on its own @ 1040pm on thurs. Did laundry, put away babies room & packed. Slept till 7. Called midwife. Went shopping, installed car seat. 1 mild cont. an hour. Was induced with pitocin at 1020am on sat. Was not dilated @ all. Had the wrong midwife because too many babies were being born @ the same time (I was early). Was 5cm @ 230pm, started pushing @ 315. @4 they were going to intervene because her heart rate dropped. I rested for a min. & Emma was born @ 416 healthy.

Started labor at 2 in the morning. Checked into the hospital at 4 in the morning. Dilation progressed quickly and normally and then all of a sudden stopped and I stayed at about 8 cm for several hours. Had c-section. Baby boy came out at 9 lbs 13 oz! Drs said there was no way I could've pushed his head out, it was that big. They said when they pulled him out his head was dented on one side! Lol healthy happy beautiful baby boy!

Water broke at work. Called the hospital & nurse says to come in. A coworker insists she drive me to the hospital. It was pouring down rain outside. Driving on the highway and her car hydroplanes on the flooding road and spins out of control. We hit the median about a dozen times (my side of car, sliding backwards) airbags deploy. the car is totaled. but we're OK! Ambulance takes us the rest of the way. Adalynn was born 6 hrs later 7 lbs 3 oz perfectly healthy! Nurses called her angel baby :)

Water broke at 2:15 am at 35 weeks. Took a shower, called family and arranged transport to hospital since SO had to tie up a few things at work. Got admitted at 4am at 1 cm. 7:30 I was 5cm, epidural then hit 10cm and had to wait for SO and my mom to come back from breakfast and he was born at 11:53am. I guess I'm lucky. I was only having painful contractions for about 5 hours. And only pushed a couple times. 8 month old and LARGE happy baby boy

I started having minor contractions at 630pm ideally what I wanted after work and home. Waited till 10pm went to the hospital, they sent me back saying my contractions were too far apart. The nurse checked the baby and I went home at 1am and had to go back at 3am when my water broke. My son was facing up so laid in bed for 30 hours, took my epidural away cause I was too numb to push, made me push for 3-4 hours and decided he wasn't coming out and did a csection. Had a 8lbs &9oz healthy boy. ❀️

Induced at 42w. First pill at 8pm, contractions started right away. Painful night, got epidural at 7:30am, anesthesiologist had to do it twice cuz she effed up the first time. Epidural wore off by noon, despite the boosters. It was painful. Nurse wouldn't check me, I kept telling her my water broke and that I needed to push. Finally, after 3 hours of begging, a new nurse came in to check me and I was 10cm. Pushed for 29 mins, 7lb10oz baby girl born at 3:59pm. She's now a 17lb 6.5 month old!

Went in for a check up @ 39 wks. And doc listen to HR which was when she sent us to the hospital. His HR kept dropping and I was only 3cm. They induced me. But ever contraction it would cause his HR to drop... Docs had me sign to do a c section. But they kept giving me so sort of med. That stopped cont. 16hours later or majors scares I was able to vaginally deliver LO. 15 mins to actually push him out. Labor was scary but pushing wasn't bad:)
