I'm EBF my second son and I feel like I'm losing way more hair than I did with my first son. Any way to prevent excessive hair loss besides taking prenatal vitamins??

Aloe vera! You can add aloe vera to a juice or smoothie. I also made an aloe vera hair mask. Get the gel from the plant, mix with honey. Leave for 45 mins then wash. 1-2 a week. Also less shampooing in the week. I wash my hair 3 times a week. I use arrowroot powder & baking soda as natural shampoo. Then use Arbonne shampoo when washing. Hope this helps

I've heard taking biotin can help too

Biotin is great I took it to help my hair grow back after brain surgery and had great results

My brothers sister suggested seaweed. I haven't tried it yet, but I am curious to know how to keep it from falling too. This shedding is driving me bonkers!

Oh and she said to "up your iodine intake". Pink hymalain salt (spelling?)

Go get checked for thyroid imbalance first before doing anything

Shawna I've been checked before and all was normal but never after giving birth. Can having a baby alter your thyroid??
