How did you mommies meet and make friends with other mommies? I'm a stay at home mom and I've been feeling pretty isolated and lonely lately. My husband works 10hrs a day, 6 days a week so I'm at home with the baby all day everyday.

I feel the same way😞summers are so good..you can take kids to park or play areas in mall..where you meet other parents. You join some classes like Gymboree or any other in your city

All my friends had babies around the same time as me. My best friend had her daughter exactly two weeks after my son was born. But since I moved states, I have trouble finding mommy friends. I went to the park last week with my son and he got along well with this other little boy. His mom and I talked a bit.

You aren't the only mommy to go through this. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. My husband works out of town and is gone 28 days at a time. I don't drive so meeting up with people and attending play groups is actually impossible. I don't even have 1 friend! My husband truly is my best friend lol.

Ashley- I don't drive either. I thought I was the only one that doesn't drive.

You can always start or join a mommy and me group to meet other people in your situation and make some friends for you and baby

Thank y'all so much! I really appreciate it. I know I'm not the only one to through this. I know it will get easier once my LO gets older. She's 2 months today!

If you like getting outside - walking/hiking, then check this website - http://hikeitbaby.com/, and see if they are active in your area. It is pretty much groups of moms who organize different walks and hikes. Great way to get exersice and meet other moms. 😊

I never really did lol. I'm home all the time. I mean, I talk to old friends, but maybe only 2 or 3 of my friends have kids and when I say I talk to any of my friends, I mean rarely. Lol. Honestly, my husband is my main friend. lol. I think it's because I'm a stay at home mom and my daughter isn't in school yet so I don't get out much to meet new people.

If there's a YMCA near you see if they have a y's moms class, I go to one and love it :) it's a weekly thing where you take your baby and just hang out with other moms and babies
