My son once had an extreme diaper rash and it turned out to be yeast which isn't that uncommon in baby's. A bath with baking soda and then drying off baby's bum with a hair dryer on cool worked great for him.

I've heard baking soda mixed with a little warm water to make a paste works very well on diaper rashes. Hope your little one gets better soon! Xo

Just sprinkle some in there. You will see results within a day or so.

If you have tried numerous diaper rash creams and nothing seems to be working, make sure it's not a yeast infection. Both boys and girls can get it, it's extremely common and diaper rash cream will not help. Hope your little one feels better soon!!

For a regular rash, slather on the Desitin. When changing pat dry, don't wipe. It will just irritate more. Do a sitz bath -shallow tub with about 1Cup of baking soda to help change the ph If you're really brave, go diaperless. The air is supposed to work wonders. I personally am too afraid to try. ***After all that, if this is a recurring rash that won't go away with pastes/ointments, it may be a yeast infection and you should see the pedi. It's treatable, but needs stronger stuff.

Lotrimin for yeast rash! I have actually heard that putting some breast milk on a yeast rash helps too. We tried that and our LO's rash cleared up a little. Dr. Smith's now makes a SPRAY diaper rash cream. If you can find it, BUY IT. It's amazing. I know it's on Amazon, also at Kroger. http://www.amazon.com/Dr-Smiths-Diaper-Ointment-Spray/dp/B00K2SLBMG/ref=sr_1_3?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1414199194&sr=1-3&keywords=dr.+smiths+diaper+ointment Good luck, mama!

Coconut oil is AMAZING for rashes. It has anti-fungal & anti-bacterial properties. Use it to clear up the rash, and afterwards. Try leaving the diaper off as long as possible. If you're breastfeeding, put some of your milk there. Sounds crazy but it works. Best of luck mama.

We've always use a&d ointment. Works fast, cheap, and easy to find at stores. Also try to let the area air dry first before putting anything on it.
