Birth Story: Just can't take my eyes off of him. I labored for 13 hours with contractions every 2 minutes. I began dilating a cm an hour and had my water broken at 11am. I then started dilating 2 cm every hour with extremely painful contractions. I then attempted getting an epidural which was wonderful at first but the doctor gave me a dose of pictocin to keep my contractions going. My epidural failed 15 minutes later and I was in the worst pain of my life. **continued in comments**

Screaming bloody murder to say the least. Doctor attempted another epidural and again it was failing and only numbed my legs. However by this point I was 10 cm dilated and knew it was time to become strong and hunker down! I began pushing and meditated during each push and felt no pain. It was simply beautiful and I felt the babies head and knew I could do this! Only 15 minutes of pushing and my beautiful Oliver Wyatt was born! Even with the struggles it was truly amazing.

Congrats mama!! Pitocin sucks huh? They gave it to me with my son too. Man made contractions are so much worse than natural ones

Aww that's the best feeling. My son weighed 8lbs and 5 ounces but couldn't do a regular delivery. Wish I did. How tall are you? I'm 5'2. I was in labor for 36 hrs pushed for 4 hours, they pulled my epidural since I was too numb and ended up having a csection.

I was the same way! I was measuring at 35 weeks at 41 weeks and my baby weight was 7pounds 8.6 oz. I don't have many tips right now, I had a c section. What time and what day was he born?
